One soul-searching day

When I was younger I have high hopes of becoming the person I want to be. However, as years go by, I realize that it’s not all true. Yes I have a choice to choose my path but along the way, there are things I couldn’t control.

And as I grow older I come to realize that age isn’t the basis for maturity. Rather, maturity is based on my attitude toward life and my response to the circumstances surrounding it.

For one thing, I am who I am now because of my life’s journey.

As another milestone inches its way, I am thankful for the many wonderful blessings in my life.

It’s not only what I have – bonded family ties and friendships - that I'm grateful for. I consider pain and frustrations as blessings, too, because without them I will never realize how blessed I am to be under God’s hands.

You're right sometimes, the thing that we want is not what we get. It happens to me, too. But as they say, never question God about this because He knows what's better for everyone ... From experience, burden becomes bearable if we know how to trust Him fully.

True, you are what you are because of the journey you take but also because of the direction you chose to take. Grabe, no. And really di pa ito end ng journey we dont know the next move. Just the same, very thankful for everything including friendships built.

I have never imagined myself to be so enamored by a TV mini-series until watching Seeking Persephone. I came across SP through a platform which has been showing snippets from the film in my social media reels. One April month

It was a one-of-a-kind trip cycle , if there’s such a phrase as that as my good-natured Filipina friend and I flew down to South Florida from the Northeast. We went around the place by land. Then we crossed the sea on board a cruise ship to Bahamas. We went back to Florida on cruise, toured the city by land again before heading back home by plane. It all happened in three different places for seven nights and eight days. One nature tripping day Our trip to Ft. Lauderdale, FL last April 14-17 was mostly spent on nature tripping. My friend and I went to a fishing port somewhere in Palm Beach Shore; we had a chance to see different kinds and sizes of fishes in the open sea aquarium while looking at them from the boardwalk. One Jury Duty Day

I was summoned to attend a jury duty a month ago.  The night before my scheduled date, I was instructed to call the court circuit for instructions. To my surprise, our group was told not to report, but to call again the following day after 5 p.m. The next afternoon, I followed the instructions and called back. This time, the automated voice announced, “All must report by 7:30 a.m.!” That night, anxiety about the unknown kept me from sleeping well. I woke up early and, after my usual morning routine, left home by 6 a.m., wanting to allow plenty of time to find the courthouse. Navigating with GPS, I reached the county's court circuit for the first time but finding a parking spot proved to be a challenge. The garage I initially thought was for public use was, in fact, off-limits, so I had to circle the area searching for available public parking.
