The Joy of Traveling

Whenever I travel, it gives me excitement whether I am with someone or alone. When I am in a new place, I am happy to see and learn new things about the place(history, culture, language, tourist spots etc.). I am interested to just see how people go on with their lives at a given situation which is different from the town/state/country that I've been to. And yes I love to get just anything from that new place. When I know that I have enough cash with me, I tend to be an impulsive buyer. Why? It's because I would tell myself that there might be no more time for me to go back to this place so I might as well enjoy shopping! The shopping spree has its beneficiaries though. It's because I would buy this or that for my family or to a friend. So I'm not the only one who is happy, it's also my family and friends back home because of the stuff I bought for them. However there are also days when I don't have enough money with me so what I do is just to take pictures of t...

Small Wonders -1

Have you ever thought of doing simple things and yet end up satisfied? Yes even though how small an act is done or how small a thing is shared, the important lesson is that it comes from the heart. And yes, we made someone happy too. Just to wake up every morning with a life ahead of us is such a wonder to be thankful for. To see the birds up high in the sky, chirping on trees and gliding in the air, reminds everyone that we have a God who takes care of anything and everything under His wings. A baby's coo, a dog's lick, a windy day, a sunny morning, flowers in bloom -- there's a lot to mention thus there is so much to be thankful for.

The Lessons of Perseverance -1

Perseverance is a virtue. It is more than the number of years, the endless months, the extended weeks, or the long days of holding on. What's important is that it made me become a better person. In my journey, I learned that it is a process by which I must go through to learn the beautiful lessons in trusting God and His perfect plan.
