One Eventful Afternoon

What was it with June 4, 2022 that almost everyone had their own celebrations? Maybe it was because spring is almost over and summer days are in the horizon. Or, maybe because after two years, we can now go out and socialize again. Whatever it was, our day was hectic! It was one Saturday afternoon with three back-to-back events. I couldn't decline any invites because I promised to be around in their events not realizing all three will be held on the same day and time. Event One was a baby shower/gender reveal party held in Washington, DC. It was simple yet a meaningful gathering of family and friends. Hubby and I never really got into the details of the party because we had to leave early to attend to the next event. Of course, we made sure that we were full before heading to the next destination. One Two's-day of 2022

It's the 22nd of the second month of the year 2022! This day is the only 02222022 day of all times! It turned out to be popular because of its one-of-a-kind numbers. Well, there is also a reason for me to remember this day because of what I have truly experienced today.  It started at almost 2 PM. As always, I was busy at work and had too many things in mind when out of the blue, I got a text from the dentist's office. I thought it was the usual survey thing that they send after each dental visits. However, there was something in me that prodded me to look at the details. It says, "Once at the parking lot, give us a call 15 minutes before your scheduled visit." It still didn't sink in to me. Why am I getting this message when I know nothing is scheduled for the day?,  I thought.
