One Overwhelming day

This is the first time that I have been in three meetings at three different buildings on campus while managing to go to my office which is in another building!

From my office, which is Bldg. I, I went to Bldg. II to attend to what I thought was only an hour but ended up attending it the whole day. With the breakout sessions, from Bldg. II I went to Building III. While on a break, I went back to Bldg. I to check my office before heading back to Bldg. II. By lunch time, I have another meeting so I left Bldg. II to go to Bldg. IV. Before heading back to Bldg. II, I went back to Bldg. I to take care of the forefront. Most of the afternoons were spent at the meeting in Bldg. II before heading back to Bldg. I.

What added to the overwhelming walks was the rain. It was rainy in the morning but then it stopped by lunch time so when I head back to my office, I left my umbrella before attending the meeting in Building II. To my surprise, it rained again once I left Bldg. II! I was soaked by the time I got to Bldg. I. Nevertheless, it didn't dampen my spirit. I was literally walking in the rain and never bothered getting wet. Then, I realized I have my laptop and my untouched lunch with me so I had to hurry up. Looking back. I sure enjoyed that moment where I felt the gentle breeze and chilly pour while walking, which has been rare as I grew older ...

I have never imagined myself to be so enamored by a TV mini-series until watching Seeking Persephone. I came across SP through a platform which has been showing snippets from the film in my social media reels. One April month

It was a one-of-a-kind trip cycle , if there’s such a phrase as that as my good-natured Filipina friend and I flew down to South Florida from the Northeast. We went around the place by land. Then we crossed the sea on board a cruise ship to Bahamas. We went back to Florida on cruise, toured the city by land again before heading back home by plane. It all happened in three different places for seven nights and eight days. One nature tripping day Our trip to Ft. Lauderdale, FL last April 14-17 was mostly spent on nature tripping. My friend and I went to a fishing port somewhere in Palm Beach Shore; we had a chance to see different kinds and sizes of fishes in the open sea aquarium while looking at them from the boardwalk. New York City

When I think of NYC, it reminds me of soaring skyscrapers, the musicals in Broadway, the solid Statue of Liberty, the historic Ellis Island, the verdant Central Park, the blinking lights at Time Square, the memorable Empire State, the American heritage Hudson River, the financial districts of Wall Street, the diversed people hustling and bustling in broad day light, the blowing of horns in busy streets, the colorful and dancing lights at night, to name a few. There seems to be endless activities going on 24/7! No wonder it is well-known as the City that Never Sleeps.
